Did the Hawaiian Kingdom ask Meiji Japan for help due to the American invasion? Did the Hawaiian Kingdom propose marriage to the Japanese Imperial family? Why didn't Japan send troops to help the Hawaiian Kingdom?

Lives in Japan (1984–present)2h
Kamehameha IV and Kamehameha V have requested Japan to provide workers.
King Kamehameha IV made the request in 1860, when a Japanese mission to the United States made a port call in Hawaii. The mission received the letter, but Japan was in a period of confusion and did not give a clear answer.
Therefore, King Kamehameha V, through the Hawaiian Consul in Japan, again requests the invitation of Japanese workers. The consul negotiates with the Tokugawa Shogunate and obtains permission to travel for 300 people.
Soon after, however, the Tokugawa Shogunate returned to power, and the Meiji government took over political affairs thereafter. The Meiji government broke the covenant on the grounds that no valid treaty with Hawaii had been concluded at all.
However, the first 153 Japanese who were scheduled to travel had gathered, and these people left for Hawaii without authorization. They became the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii.
The Japanese government demanded that the Japanese be sent home or at least treated better, and 40 were sent home as a result of this negotiation. In the year following the trip, at least 56 people returned to Japan because they believed their treatment was different from what they had been promised at the time of the trip.
It was not until two years later that a trade treaty was signed between Japan and Hawaii.
Japanese did not officially immigrate to Hawaii until 1886. The government facilitated immigration for approximately eight years. This brings the total number of Japanese immigrants to 29,000.
The Japanese were chosen as immigrants because of the poor reputation of the Chinese who had immigrated before them. The retention rate of Chinese immigrants was poor, and they started competing businesses, which worsened the impression among residents. In addition, the fact that Hawaii became part of the U.S. and the U.S. anti-Chinese immigration laws were applied to Hawaii also contributed to the decline in Chinese immigration. However, Hawaii had become one of the world's leading exporters of sugarcane, due to the elimination of tariffs and other factors, and labor was needed.
After this, immigration services will be outsourced to the private sector and government immigration classes will end. In other words, this is the end of Japanese government involvement in Hawaii.
As for the relationship between the Japanese Imperial Family and Hawaii, when King Kalakaua visited Japan in 1881, he requested that his niece, Princess Kaiulani, be married into the Japanese Imperial Family.
If the marriage had taken place, it would have been between a 13-year-old and a 5-year-old.
The Meiji government turned down this request, saying that it did not have the capacity to accept the request.
