idk……

Afrin
  • 对于 SDF,有 Deir-ez-Zor

What Middle East war are you asking about? Libya’s sectarian violence? The war in Yemen? The Syrian civil war? The sectarian violence in Iraq?

Please be specific.

Well, yes and no. The United States has been at war for 225 years of the 243 it had existed. England has been at war with about 80% of the members of the UN at one point or another. The Middle East is a culturally diverse area. It has been kingdoms and empires. Democracies and dictatorships. They have been invaded and occupied and been invaders and occupiers. So while some areas have known lengthy periods of peace, other areas were fighting wars at the same time. So…. Some part of the region has been fighting with someone for a good deal of recorded history. Just as has pretty much every other

No.

Because it's divided into different countries.

Some of you would think that's the answer, but surprisingly enough.. it's not.

You see the war in Yemen.

You hear about the fightings in Lybia (or not, if your local news don't think it's news).

You read that Lebanon had 2 bloody major civil wars since WWII.

You hear so many different names of organizations fighting in Syria with each other, and against each other..

At the same time (200 organizations to be precise).

And many more struggles that don't make it to the unofficial media.

That begs the question:

Why?

Why does it ha

Back in the 1970s Sheik Yamani, the Saudi oil minister, commenting on oil shortages of the time said “ The Stone Age did not end because they ran out of stones.” What he meant was that the Oil Age would end when something better comes along, not when oil runs out.

No one knows how much oil remains in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is known to have oil resources near its border with Oman. The oil on the Omani side is produced and exported via pipeline to the Muscat area. The oil on the Saudi side of the border isn’t produced or even much explored for two reasons. First, the Saudi already have suf

I see the future of the Middle East as completely dark and grim. Like Latin America, we simply have no insulation from stronger countries that wish to bend us to their will. We have no safe space in which to develop freely and determine and pursue our own destiny. The region is totally exposed, utterly dominated and at the mercy of not one but multiple beastly Western hegemons, which are free, without any consequence to themselves, to resort again and again to methods as beastly as themselves, to maintain their mastery over our region. Israel, the United States, France, and Britain (more or le

There is the part of the middle east that is eroding and destroying itself )e.g., Lebanon, Syria, Iraq), and there is another part that is planning and working for a better future (e.g., Saudi Arabia, the Gulf countries, Israel).

Those who do not really have a national basis for unity (the countries I mentioned that are eroding) are collapsing because they never had a real national existence.

However, new alliances and spirits that speak the language of peace are unfolding.

A brave new middle east.

Lebanon is a social, and economic cripple. She has been invaded by Iran’s puppet-Hezbollah-and this is a cancer eating away at the fabric of Lebanon!
