二戰後德國士兵在德國的生活是怎樣的？

有些人在西伯利亞作為戰俘加起來長達 10 年。
許多人死在集中營裡，還有一些人是在吃完多年以來的第一頓大餐回家後死去的。
其他人發現他的妻子要么再婚，要么自殺。
那些倖存下來的人並沒有因為他們的所作所為而得到認可，但他們也沒有受到蔑視。
退伍軍人工作非常努力，紀律嚴明。
這似乎也分散了他們在戰爭期間的經歷。
這個國家繁榮昌盛，omertà，更不用說納粹主義了，直到 1960 年代後期都是常識。
聯邦共和國初期非常保守。
似乎每個人都做錯了什麼，他不想過多談論戰爭，因為他知道真正的野蠻男孩到那時會逍遙法外。

在 50 年代和 60 年代初期，許多知識分子不願返回德國。
1968 年學生起義是一個轉折點：

只有我遇到的一些人表現出了預期的態度和感受，即內疚、憤怒和某種虐待的混合體。
