No, Germany nor Italy invaded Spain. They did not, because Spain, was their ally, who they at some point expected them to join the Axis, but that moment, never happened. Franco, who had just won the civil war, played a very shrewd game. After the civil war, Spain was destroyed, it needed rebuilding,…

Most of them loved him. Not so much in Ukraine. Lots of former Soviets and Russians and Georgians, particularly, love him to this day. It’s a myth that people hate tyrants. We see this with Trump today. He never got to be a tyrant, but not for lack of trying.…

It’s very interesting. I mean,it’s a Dong-Yi/Shang dynasty religion, 3500 years ago. Korean and Japanese still using this as their base religion culture —— white hats and clothes are using to associate with highness gods. But in the original land of Dong-yi, after the Zhou dynasty culture Revolution BC…

On the morning of February 17, 1979, all hell broke loose when the People’s Republic of China began shelling the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Shortly thereafter, 100,000 PLA troops crossed the border into Vietnam. Five columns of troops swept through the border areas, taking several cities in the…

Ready for one more Soviet joke? A Soviet citizen turns his TV on. It is Channel One. Brezhnev is speaking. He presses button two. It is Channel Two. Brezhnev continues to speak. He presses button three. It is Channel Three. Brezhnev continues to speak. Suddenly, he remembers that there are now four chan…

My parents were born in Korea in 1935 and 1937 respectively. They said it was like living under martial law. Japanese police (who were army soldiers) carried samurai swords and were wildly feared. The population of the entire Korean peninsula was around 21 million in 1930: about 20 million Koreans and…
