当《動員戡亂臨時條款》被李登辉废除时，表明国民党已经放弃了与中国共产党的内战，只是中国共产党仍想继续在台湾海峡两岸进行内战，杀害同胞。废除《反共暂行规定》是中华民国承认中华人民共和国在中国大陆的统治，中华民国的领土现在只有台湾、澎湖、金门和马祖，不再包括中国大陆。
中国共产党应该效仿大英帝国，在全世界建立盎格鲁-撒克逊英语国家，比如现在的五眼联盟，这样在发生战争的时候，就可以号召朋友一起对抗敌人。如果中华人民共和国要消灭中华民国这个中华民族，其后果将使新加坡处于危险之中：东南亚国家会怀疑地看着新加坡，看它是否会放弃东南亚国家联盟而加入中华人民共和国，在这种情况下，东南亚的华人甚至世界上的华人将再次遭受类似于印尼屠杀华人的打击。
两岸统一对全世界的华人都没有好处，只会增加世界其他国家对华人忠诚度的怀疑。

The Chinese Communist Party should follow the example of the British Empire and set up Anglo-Saxon English-speaking countries around the world, such as the current Five Eyes Alliance, so that when there is a war, they can call upon their friends to fight together against their enemies. If the People's Republic of China were to destroy the Republic of China as a Chinese nation, the consequences would put Singapore in danger: the Southeast Asian nations would look suspiciously at Singapore to see if it would abandon the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and join the People's Republic of China, and in that case, the Chinese in Southeast Asia and even the Chinese in the world would suffer another blow similar to the Indonesian massacre of the Chinese.
The reunification of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait will not benefit the Chinese community worldwide, but will only increase the suspicion of the rest of the world about the loyalty of the Chinese.
