中國海外移民在菲律賓被西班牙人屠殺,在印度尼西亞被荷蘭人和印度尼西亞人屠殺。有沒有華人移民想與那裡的華人聯合建立自己的國家?為什麼不?
Chinese overseas immigrants were slaughtered by the Spanish in the Philippines and by the Dutch and Indonesians in Indonesia. Did any Chinese immigrants therefore want to unite with the Chinese there to establish their own country? Why not?
I don’t think so.
As far as I know, the Chinese never intended to build their own country on an island or elsewhere. They are traders, and because they usually trade far from their homes, some of them decided to settle in a country. The same thing happened in Indonesia, where most of the Chinese Indonesians' ancestors were settled traders.
I'm not sure about other countries, but in Indonesia, there has never been a story of Chinese Indonesians rebelling or wanting to create their own country; they only came to trade and some of them have lived in Indonesia until now, and there have been no cases of rebellion; they are quite proud to be Indonesians and have no intention of building their own country made up of Chinese.
Aside from that, it it seems that Chinese people travel to other countries not to create their own country, but rather to find a job and a better fate than they would face in their own country. This commonly exists in a country where there are too many competitors for jobs, so some people decide to leave abroad to work, with no intention of creating their own country.
When the Chinese come to a country, I don't believe they have any desire to build their own country; they come to trade and make money.
