台灣獨立其實是自尋煩惱的事

 Taiwan's independence is actually a self-inflicted problem because it is based on the non-recognition of the ruling rights of the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China.

The ROC is already an independent country, so why does Taiwan need to be independent to become a normal country?

If Taiwan becomes independent and returns Kinmen, Matsu, Dongsha and Taiping Islands to the People's Republic of China, will Taiwan be able to live in peace with the People's Republic of China?

How do you want to return them? Sign the treaty? How do we sign? Will the People's Republic of China talk to the Republic of Taiwan about Taiwan's independence?

If international law says that the signing of a contract is a necessary condition for everything to be established, does this mean that as long as the People's Republic of China does not sign the contract, the Republic of Taiwan will remain an empty talk and a deception to the people?

The Republic of China was originally an independent country, but because of the war caused a significant loss of territory, leaving only Taiwan Penghu Jinmen Matsu.

The R.O.C. has also thought about attacking the mainland to recover its territory, but reality is stronger than people, and the R.O.C. is no longer able to wage war, so it abolished the anti-communist provisional constitution in 1991, and formally gave up its territory in the mainland.

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), which advocated Taiwan's independence in 2006, also abolished the Guidelines for National Unification, which the KMT would not dare to reinstate even if it were to return to power.

At this point, the R.O.C. has officially abandoned the goal of national unification and only wants to maintain the current status quo of independence. How is this different from Taiwan's independence?

If the name of the country is not the same, then hold a referendum to change the national flag, national anthem, and national symbol! This will not be more appealing than the independence of Taiwan!

But the DPP is in power for the second time, why not do it? Because they are afraid to gamble, afraid of war! Fear of bloodshed!

The false perception of Taiwan's independence is based on.

Japan and the Allied Powers signed the San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1951.

In 1952, Japan signed the Sino-Japanese Peace Treaty with the government of the Republic of China.

However, in these peace treaties, Japan only "renounced" all rights, titles and claims to Taiwan and Penghu, but did not indicate to whom the sovereignty of Taiwan would be vested.

Therefore, the status of Taiwan was not determined.

The Taiwan independence advocates therefore used the undetermined status of Taiwan to deny the ROC's status in Taiwan.

But they forget that in 1945, the ROC took over Taiwan, Penghu, Hong Kong, and North Vietnam under the First Order of General MacArthur of the Allied Headquarters. This was not an exercise of the right of conquest, but the right of a victorious nation to dispose of a defeated nation.

The British took back Hong Kong because of Chiang Kai-shek's cowardice. France wanted to rebuild the colonial empire of Indochina and take back North Vietnam. But did any foreign country ask the Republic of China for Taiwan's Penghu back? No!

Why not? Because Taiwan Penghu has already got back the territory ceded by China and Japan in the Sino-Japanese War because of the ROC's status as the victorious nation in World War II. This is a fact that cannot be denied.

台灣獨立其實是自尋煩惱的事，因為這行動是基於不承認中華民國和中華人民共和國的統治權。

中華民國本來就是獨立的國家，為何需要台灣獨立才能成為正常的國家？

難道只要台灣獨立，將金門、馬祖、東沙島、太平島還給中華人民共和國，台灣就可以和中華人民共和國和平相處嗎？

要怎麼還？簽約？要如何簽？中華人民共和國會跟台灣共和國談台灣獨立嗎？

如果國際法上說簽約是一切事情成立的必要的條件，這是否代表只要中華人民共和國不簽約，台灣共和國根本還是一場空話，欺騙人民的話術。

中華民國本來就是一個獨立的國家，只是因為戰爭關係導致領土大幅度喪失，只剩下台灣澎湖金門馬祖。

中華民國也想過反攻大陸收復國土，但現實比人強，中華民國已經無力發起戰爭，所以1991廢除了反共的臨時憲法條款，正式放棄中國大陸的領土，只是政治人物不敢輕楚說明。

2006主張台灣獨立的民進黨也廢除Guidelines for National Unification，即使國民黨再度執政也不敢恢復。

至此，中華民國正式放棄統一的國家目標，只想維持目前獨立的現狀。這樣跟台灣獨立有何不同嗎？

國名不一樣，那就辦公投更改國旗國歌國父國號！這會不會比用台灣獨立更有號召力！

但民進黨二度執政，為何還是不做呢？因為不敢賭，怕戰爭！怕流血！

台灣獨立的錯誤認知建立在：

1951年日本與同盟國簽訂《舊金山和約》。

1952年又與中華民國政府簽訂《中日和約》。

但是在這些和約中，日本都只有表示「放棄」對台灣、澎湖等島嶼的一切權利、權利名義與要求，並未表明台灣主權歸屬於何方。

因此衍生出台灣地位未定論。

台獨人士因此用台灣地位未定論來否定中華民國在台灣的資格。

但忘記了1945年中華民國是依據盟軍總部麥克阿瑟將軍的一號命令接收台灣澎湖香港北越。這不是行使征服權，而是戰勝國對戰敗國的處置權力。

香港因為蔣介石的懦弱，英國拿回香港。法國想要重建印度支那殖民地帝國，拿回北越。但有哪個外國向中華民國要回台灣澎湖呢？沒有！

為何沒有，因為台灣澎湖已經因中華民國是二戰戰勝國的身份，拿回中日甲午戰爭割讓的領土。這是無法否認的事實。
