台灣不是聯合國認定的殖民地，且在二戰後，物歸原主由中國派兵接收。當時的參戰國都沒有反對意見，這表示是承認的意思。
至於香港和北越的接收問題，由於英國和法國介入，懦弱的蔣介石讓步了！
緊接著1949蔣介石在中國內戰徹底失敗，退守台灣。這時國際上才出現台灣地位的問題，這是對失敗者的侮辱，不是根據國際法的解釋。
