狐狸兔子老鼠

The Malaysian Prime Minister once ridiculed Singapore's elite politics as being like a pack of rabbits, not even comparable to Malaysia's foxes. But while the Singapore People's Action Party (PAP) has been in power so far, the technocrats of the Kuomintang, under the reign of secret service terror, cannot even be rabbits.

Where does the problem lie?

It is not with Lee Teng-hui.

Rather, it is in Chiang Ching-kuo's inability to establish a collegial system of succession echelons for Taiwan and to embark on the usual roaring democratic electoral system.

More importantly, because of his disgust for Lee Teng-hui, he has instead embarked on the route of the Chinese dream, which is even more wrong.
