蘇格蘭人對煽動戰爭負有主要責任。

作為一個蘇格蘭人，我應該覺得 Quora 上的大量反英語情緒相當有趣，但老實說，我他媽的討厭它。這是一個徹頭徹尾的笑話。

英格蘭的絕大多數人對鴉片戰爭知之甚少或根本不知道，

而那些知道的人知道實際上是一名蘇格蘭人對煽動戰爭負有主要責任。

威廉·渣甸（Dr. William Jardine，1784年－1843年），又譯查頓，蘇格蘭人，早年在中國走私鴉片的船上出任外科醫生，然後轉營在亞洲的鴉片販售。

威廉·渣甸創辦了怡和洋行，並在推動鴉片戰爭，令清廷割讓香港予英國作為沒收鴉片的賠償中起關鍵作用。

1.  欧洲人（包括英国人）希望从中国得到许多商品，包括丝绸、茶叶和陶瓷。
2. 中国不希望从欧洲得到任何东西
3. 中国只想用白银作为默认货币
4. 由于1+2+3，英国出现了巨大的贸易逆差。
5. 印度是大卫-罗斯柴尔德资助的种植鸦片的完美殖民地（很少有证据可以证明这一点）。
6. 因此，贪婪的罗斯柴尔德开垦农田种植鸦片，直接导致了孟加拉三次饥荒之一。

2. China didn't want anything from the Europe
3. China only wanted silver as the default currency
4. Because of 1+2+3 England ran into a huge trade deficit
5. India was a perfect colony to grow Opium funded by David Rothschild (scarce evidence to support this)
6. So the greedy Rothschild cleared farm land for opium which directly caused one of the three Bengal famines.
7. The Rothschild and their East Indian Company illegally smuggled opium into China.
8. When Lin Zhechu in Cantonese port dumped heaps of opium into the sea. The English got pissed because their life ruining illegal business got destroyed.
9. The Rothschild paid the English to bomb the hell out of China, legalize opium trade. They used to call this “the defence of free trade”.
10. China was forced to pay for the bombs and costs of the English army. Hong Kong was ceded to England.
11. The English opened the gate to allow other European powers to enslave the Chinese market.
12. Due to 11, the English knew they could not win over China. They just wanted to make shit loads of money by sickening the whole Chinese nation.
